My position is that Love is patient and Love is Kind, and it is also Inclusive not Exclusive. I would also like to know more about what people at Christ Church Cathedral think about this situation. I joined this congregation because I was hoping to find a more inclusive congregation than the one I had experienced in my early life. After the Dean’s letter, although it was written as lovingly as it was, I am discouraged. I am happy to hear that there are those who disagree with the Bishop’s decision on this. I don’t see what it harms if individual parishes and individual clergy decide for themselves whether to perform sacraments or not – based on the individuals and circumstances involved.

I would like to know more about what this group is thinking, and if I can help, I would like to.

Thank you,

Virginia Bailey
