Hello -

I got your address from a friend who knows that I am frustrated at the
Bishop's position on the use of the "new liturgy" for the celebration of
same sex marriage. My position is that Love is patient and Love is Kind,
and it is also Inclusive not Exclusive. I would also like to know more
about what people at Christ Church Cathedral think about this situation. I
joined this congregation because I was hoping to find a more inclusive
congregation than the one I had experienced in my early life. After the
Dean's letter, although it was written as lovingly as it was, I am
discouraged. I am happy to hear that there are those who disagree with the
Bishop's decision on this. I don't see what it harms if individual parishes
and individual clergy decide for themselves whether to perform sacraments or
not - based on the individuals and circumstances involved.

I would like to know more about what this group is thinking, and if I can
help, I would like to.

Thank you,

Virginia Bailey
